Athena a la francaise, Ongoing project

This is a work in progress of a reproduction statue. The original sits in a French museum somewhere but I'm afraid I've lost the exact coordinates.

The base polygon model was made in Maya, then exported to Mudbox for displacement. These are screen grabs from ZBrush with a bronze realtime shader.

I'm hoping to 3D print it soon...

Render Setup : With an afternoon free between courses and exams, I got a few hours of work in on this project to start seting up a few shaders and lights. The first thing I wanted to do with this one was to create a studio shoot feel like you see in art books. All samples are still a bit low , the eye "gold" shader is freaky, but I think this is all going to work out...

Sculpting the details:

It was time for the model to get the full Mudbox and Zbrush treatment. Is 20 million polygons enough? It should be right?
